Parrocchia di San Michele Arcangelo

The Parish of St Michael the Archangel is situated in Croce Malloni and is one of the oldest places of worship in the area. The church was built in the 12th century to replace an earlier building dedicated to St Fortunatus and immediately took on a central role within the local community.

In the 16th century, the building was extended with the construction of the Santa Lucia chapel and, at the same time, elevated to the status of parish church. Further extensions and restoration work were necessary over time, particularly in the 18th century, to adapt the church to the liturgical needs of a growing community.

Today, the parish of St Michael the Archangel stands as a significant testament to the religious and social continuity of the Croce Malloni area.
